Susan Wilger
Susan is passionate about working to promote public health, public policy and equity through community engagement. She has worked in the nonprofit sector for over 35 years with expertise in organizational systems, public policy, resource development and program management. Her work has focused on underserved and underrepresented populations and communities, especially rural and frontier areas. Susan serves as an executive advisor for the Center for Health Innovation, New Mexico’s Public Health Institute. She is the former director of the Center for Health Innovation and the National Center for Frontier Communities. She serves as past Chair of the New Mexico Food and Agriculture Policy Council. Susan has a bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a master's degree in public affairs from the University of Texas-Austin.
