Public Health Specialist will support maternal and child health activities at the Albuquerque Area Southwest Tribal Epidemiology Center (AASTEC), with an emphasis on initiatives aligned with ERASE MM (Enhancing Reviews and Surveillance to Eliminate Maternal Mortality). The overarching goal of this work is to strengthen maternal and child wellness and prevent mortality.
Indigenous Health Researcher will support the aims of AAIHB’s NIH-funded, Native Collective Research Effort to Enhance Wellness (N CREW) Program to plan, develop, and implement community-led research, research capacity enhancement, and data improvements, to respond to the opioid/drug public health emergency within our 27-Tribe service area spanning across New Mexico, Colorado, Texas and Utah. The overarching goal of this new program is to build and strengthen the research capacity within our tribal organization and the tribes we serve to generate knowledge and improve outcomes related to overdose, substance use, and related factors including mental wellbeing.

The Sexual Violence Project Coordinator is responsible for the strategic coordination of the Coalition’s overall sexual violence project initiatives (training, education, advocacy, and prevention). Plans, implements, and evaluates the Coalition’s sexual violence projects in collaboration with tribal sexual assault programs and agencies across our service area. Coordinate project efforts for community-based education to service providers who work with Native survivors of sexual violence. Identifies the Coalition’s project priorities to build broader community awareness about sexual violence. Works closely with Coalition stakeholders and partners to identify issues, priorities, and develop strategies and community-based responses to sexual violence. This is an exempt, salaried position.

The Office Coordinator position is responsible for coordinating and strengthening the Coalition’s strategic operational and administrative performance. Coordinates and oversees the Coalition’s office functions for adequate cost control, smooth financial processes, and billing.
Coordinates a variety of day-to-day office and clerical tasks to ensure that office operations are efficient and add maximum value to the organization. Provides strategic administrative solutions and processes that support the mission, goals, and objectives of the Coalition to Stop Violence Against Native Women (CSVANW).
