Heather Maxey

Heather Maxey serves as the Health Council and Public Health Specialist with the New Mexico Alliance of Health Councils. Her experience includes teaching health promotion courses at a small college in Virginia, implementing health programs as part of a maternal and child health grant for local health departments in North Carolina, and researching children’s health issues for a nonprofit in Washington, D. C. She has a Master of Public Health, and a Master of Arts in Health Education.
