New Mexico County & Tribal Health Councils are committed to advancing public health initiatives that directly address the state's most pressing needs.

Their daily work aligns closely with the priorities outlined by New Mexico’s state agencies, including the Strategic Water Supply Plan, the Governor's Housing and Homelessness Initiative, and efforts to combat crime, such as the creation of the Crime of Hazing and the implementation of the Firearm Industry Accountability Act.
